Fidencio

A tradition of unorthodox healing in Espinazo, México where a popular healer lived in the XIX century. He was named "Saint" after thousands of people used to pay him visits to get cured from any illnes ranging from psychological to actual physical ones. His methods were rather unusual such as removing a tumor with a broken piece of glass he'd have found on the floor, bathing in mud and son on. He died in 1938 and people still visit the tomb and mediums known as "Cajitas" get into trance and Niño Fidencio takes place to hear and cure people.
